You could try but it might be better to wait a week. Moving and getting a new home and cause a ball to stress. Stress often times keeps them from eating. If it were me I would leave the snake alone for a few days and work on getting the tub and equipment installed and dialed in. After that I would wait a few more days and then try to feed.

I guess I will try as my neigbour has got a BP too which only eats mice, he also breeds them.
So if he does not want to eat yet he'll just feed the mouse to his BP or other snakes.

Bought a tub today, first thing tomorrow will be drilling some holes in it and buying straps or clamps to hold the lid in place.
Then wednesday I will try to feed him, buy a tstat and the thermometer and hygrometer. Place an uth under the new tub together with the tstat and meters.

I would drill holes only after you find out what the humidity in the tub will be. If the humidity is fine without them, you don't need to drill them.

Start with only a couple at a time. Give it a few hours between adding holes to see where the humidity rest.
