I used to have a snapping turtle that fulfilled the position of garbage disposal.

Really? What kind of dog? Will all dogs do this? I guess they are predatory by nature...

I have a doberman. All dogs are certainly capable of eating small rodents, but I couldn't say if all dogs would want to. I don't know. It's a much healthier treat/snack for them than the fake meat products sold as treats at the grocery store.

As someone suggested earlier, offer multiples until they are gone. So give two pinkies instead of a fuzzy. That is what we do with the ones that are too small. We buy in large quantities with the number of snakes that we have. Also Blood pythons make great garbage disposals.

Plenty of good options given, I would feed a couple per meal, feed to another pet or try offering them locally, you never know and might meet a new friend! If it's something I can offer a snake, I do, otherwise unwanted feeders go to my cat or dogs. They get my retired breeder rats because I don't have a buyer for them or a snake that can eat something that big.
