Fuzzy mice or hoppers look to small for him. I would try switching him over to large rat pups. Maybe even a small weaned its hard to tell by the picture. Good rule of thumb is feed him a prey item that is as large around as the thickest part of the snake. Hope this helps

First I just have to say that your little normal is Gorgeous! I love it's dark creamy color and clean pattern. He or she is a beaut. Now back to your question, he/she can definitely take Rat Pups at it's size. Most feed fuzzy rats/hopper mice to newly hatched babies and yours looks to be a little older than a fresh out of the egg hatchling. So try rat pups and see how it goes keep us updated.

Yeah pics are hard to judge the size of a ball python, but I am thinking he could easily take rat pups....
