kinda looks like a cinnamon pewter to me, but I haven't had any peronal experiences with either so I could be wrong, best way to be absolutely sure would be to ask the breeder or who ever you got the animal from

It can be either one you need to know who produced this animal and ask them.
Cinny and Black Pastel can vary greatly, you can produce some dark cinny or some light black pastels that look like cinnies, same goes for their pewters.
Again find the person and ask.

But for what it's worth, the snake looks more like a black pewter to me.

If it is a Black Pewter, the line of Black Pastel makes a HUGE difference, and the line of Pastel can have some say as well.
I agree you ned to trace the lineage to know for sure.
