Another Super Pin proved out
So I had a little discussion with Evan Stahl today, I am actually surprised this subject never got brought up between us until today. To sum it up, He has in his possession a male homozygous pinstripe aka super pin. He told me the animal came from a emperor pin to a lemonblast. the actual animal is an emperor super pin. He told me he has now produce 59 babies from that animal and all have been pinstripe. This statistical odds of that animal being heterozygous are 1 in 576 Quadrillion. This blows away Brian's breeding records of 27 babies. I was also told he has posted this information previously on facebook, but my short experience with the reptile people on facebook has shown majority people are uneducated and cling to popular opinion, despite glaring facts. So when people couldn't comprehend it, it really didn't surprise me. So I am just resurfacing the information.
I have no idea what (if any) picture proof Evan has, feel free to ask him for some first hand information. If he does not have any, he has the animal in his possession so he can get some this season. Evan Stahl is a highly respected breeder around here. I don't see him making a unwarranted claim like this just for kicks with his reputation.
I would pursue more from Evan to post, but I would prefer it if the naysayers got it first hand themselves because I have been down that road before.
Enjoy.

We also have a friend here in Poland that claims he might have a Super Pin, as this male sired 2 or 3 clutches and all babies were also pins . Still he will be doing some more pairings, but it looks promising .

Pretty cool stuff. Do we have any pictures of the emperor super pin?

Thanks for sharing! As a pretty much non facebooker I would have never found this info on an individual breeder's page. I am interested if any differences at all are apparent with the homozygous pins (appearance or behavior). Sounds like the first proven dominant ball python morph.

Man, I was really hoping that I could say that I have a baby from a pairing with this super. Alas, I don't think I can.
My Spinner Blast girl was from Evan's first clutch of 2013: Emperor Pin x Bumble Bee
There was only one non-Pinstripe in the whole clutch: http://evanstahlreptiles.blogspot.co...s-out.html?m=1
Maybe he's got another Emperor Pin male that's the super? Or the Butter Pastel was a fluke (can that happen with supers)? Either way, he had insane Pinstripe odds with the clutch that included my girl.

I was told there is no visual difference. As for other dominant morphs
Vin russo claims the orginal congo was homozygous, before he redid his website https://web.archive.org/web/20101214...ythons&UID=106
RDR has bred a platty x platty and produced a daddy gene looking animal. http://www.ralphdavisreptiles.com/bi...thons_8_07.asp clutch 76, http://www.ralphdavisreptiles.com/bi...ons_2_2012.asp clutch 11
Greg G claims leopard is dominant also : https://www.facebook.com/GrazianiRep...23771887717165

No a fluke cannot happen, he would have to have another animal, his claim was 59/59 babies were pins. But your animal has a 33% chance of being a super

You're going to have to take me to school on this one. How does mine have a 33% chance at being a super when only the sire had Pinstripe? This is, of course, playing off the assumption that there is a super.

Glad to hear I'm not completely losing it. Just don't tell my girl that she has 0% chance at being super. I don't know what it'd do to her ego.

This is pretty cool. Evan should post pics and breeding records.
