I just got a little hatchling and he seems to be fine with the hermit crab coconut hides from petsmart. I think they're on sale for a little over $2 each. He ate two hoppers the same day i brought him home and so far I've had no issues.
Excuse the messy holes!

He meant to say tape construction paper outside the tub to make a wall so they cant see outside.

I found those at the store, but ended up going with the Macaroni and Cheese cups. Since we didn't want to waste the food. lol Mac and Cheese would easily get eaten in our house. 

But great idea!

I'll have to get those too. The Ramen containers are actually a bit big for hatchlings, while those look perfect.
