Just fed her and on her second strike she coiled and killed a live weanling mouse. That store is a bunch of liars anyway I'm glad she's eating and I'll grab some rat pup sunday and start fattening her up

Awesome! And if there's a silver lining at all, it's that she's hungry enough to switch from mice to rats without being picky.

At petco today and I noticed an extremely emanciated ball python. Layers of stuck shed, visible spine, sunk in eyes and eye caps, crickets in the cage ect. I bought her ( got a discount ) ..

Really you never should have bought a snake. Unless the discount meant free. The store was mistreating the animal obviously and you wanted to make sure it would get better treatment so you bought it. Now all that's gonna happen is the store will get another perfectly healthy snake and treat it just a poorly as the last one. Stores that only see dollars and don't care about the animals won't change their ways if they keep selling them. Sadly the only way they would learn is to have the animals die on them and cost them money. If they keep selling and giving them a profit there is no reason to stop mistreating them.

Your heart is in the right place. Don't think like I am just trying to tear you down for wanting to .help a poor animal. It's just people always see a sick animal in a store and think the best thing is to save it and take it home but that is only adding to the big problem. Not helping it.
