I'm not sure what she's paired with. The dude had a lot of bps. She was Gravid when I got her. I was told she was a he when I got her. I've had her for a month. I hope something cool even tho I have to get rid of them after they eat and shed. The wife doesn't know about the female or the eggs. She never goes by the tank so it's easy to hide till they hatch. Lol. I Tryed posting in adoption for my area so they go to good homes but can't figure out how to post there.I'm more concerned about finding good homes instead of money.

I mean, if you get a pied or anything out of it, I wouldn't complain if one magically came my way.

Lol. If u liv close to me u can have as many as u want. I rather give them to people on this site then pet stores or Craig's list. At least I know they would be in good hands. And to be honest a pied and black widow are my dream pythons. We will see what I get. I might be able to talk the wife into keeping one if I earn extra brownie points. Haha

This all seems a little odd...

So you have a gravid female ok..

You bought her as a boy???

This guy has alot of snakes, assuming hes a breeder, why/how would he not know

If he DID know why was he pairing Male to Male, Or pairing at all IF he doesnt know....

Now you just magically have a prego snake, I feel as if you paired and didnt want to admit because QT...

Just seems odd that you have a prego male snake, because the breeding aspect wouldnt match up.

I think this was more of a bad husbandry situation on the previous owner's part, perhaps he cohabbed two 'males' and then sold one to OP. the OP admits he's been trying to pair his two normals with no success and happened upon this chance-gravid snake.

If the OP admits he's cohabbing his own two, why wouldn't he own up to having paired this one?

Not to hijack this thread but corbin do you feel the need to be rude or put people down on a constant basis? This forum is here so people can ask questions and learn about these wonderful animals if you keep putting people down or attempting to make people feel stupid for no apparent reason they will stop asking questions at all which means they won't be learning proper care for these animals and even more will suffer from ignorant owner's.

Didn't your mother ever teach you the old saying If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all!

    Works for you aswell.

I could send you to links on other forums were harsh truth works. Sometimes not everyone gets a smiley go happy response.

Little fabricated tales to hide bad actions once a member calls on it. We all handle QT lightly but awful things can happen on that video. Me asking a semi relevant question seems fair since it's such a "odd" mishap

I'm quite aware of the lack of qt situation but to go around and accuse people or improper quarantine when you have no idea what happened and this thread was simply to inquire about substrate for maternal incubation. If the post was regarding sick snakes or the op has said that he paired his recently acquired female then at that point a simple question regarding qt is fair, but the only question mark I see in your post involves the gender of the snake. You actually ACCUSED the op of improper quarantine. There is a difference between questions and accusations

That or he can take it with a grain of salt and actually talk to the breeder for his. "Improper" sales. Regardless it was a question and it seems to perfectly played. As soon as asked about QT getting defensive

Apologize you also asked why the breeder paired male to male and why he didnt know she was gravid still no question about qt
