    Are there any laws like this in the UK? I've not heard of anything as major as that, I am always hearing of snakes not being allowed to move within the US

    I haven't heard of any UK laws. But then again I don't really pay attention. I really doubt you guys would have any bans. They're considering putting retics, boa constrictors and 3 anaconda species on the Lacey act, which bans interstate travel. Which really sucks for people in a state where there are no breeders for an animal you want (like me). I guess it's to stop them spreading and invading other areas than the Everglades even though most species couldn't incubate eggs anywhere else other than northern Florida at the most.
