An incredible case of Beginners luck!!!!

Very first... HUGE thanks to Justin Kobylka of JKobylkaReptiles for literally helping me every step of the way!! Thanks Justin!

I've never bred ball pythons (nor anything else for that matter) before, but have always been into reptiles and Ive had a few very small ball python collections that I've sold off due to lack of time, busy schedule, etc. Never really having an opportunity to breed them, though always wanting to.

Last year I got back into it, with a small collection, determined to get eggs, and hatch something (anything) out.

My first attempt at breeding was a Enchi Ghost male X Lesser Pastel Het Ghost female.

I saw a few locks between them:

Then later noticed the Lesser Pastel Het Ghost mom laying inverted: This boosted my confidence that she may have taken.

Then sometime later, I found her ON EGGS!!! I was crazy pumped!!! total of 5 eggs:

Then.. BAD news.. Highly disappointing news... 3 eggs quickly went bad.. turned brown, then mushed out.

The good news... 2 eggs survived!

A While later (I'm not sure how long as I wasn't checking her every single day looking for eggs).....

    PIPPING!!!!!!!!!

    Close up:

Ok.. Side note.. Justin @ JKR freaking knew/told me what morphs these 2 were prior to them coming out any further! JUST BY THIS PIC ABOVE!!!
    Just amazing!!!

    .

    Coming out a little further...

then... Out of the egg baby!!!!!!!!

Out of the egg... prior to washing him/her off:

And the sibling out of the egg too!!!!

And finally, both of them together..

    The final result???

    ....

    Pastel Lesser 100% Het Ghost...

    And.....

Pastel Lesser Enchi Ghost ... I simply cannot believe I hit the odds on this!!!! Beginners luck!

I can't wait till there first shed!!!

That guy is INCREDIBLE! Huge congrats! SO JEALOUS!!! This is a goal of mine for probably 3 years out. If that's a male and if I were in your shoes, I'd buy a couple proven POG and Ghost adult females for next season and watch your ROI shoot for the stars!
