New setup (LARGE)
About a year or so ago I realized that my love for snakes had become diluted with the desire to make money. I just woke up one day and decided, I'm done. I'm not going to breed anymore and I'm going to sell my entire collection. That being said I'm now down to 2 female Ball Pythons and a handful of babies to sell. Once they are gone I'll be starting construction on my pet boa's new enclosure and this thread will be devoted to that. I have a room that I currently use for my snakes that is insulted floor, ceiling and all the walls. I'll be using that for Chesters room I'll have a couch in there, and maybe a TV, but the focal point will be Chester's new home!! SO! His enclosure will be roughly (I have to measure to get exact dimensions) 5 feet wide x 3 feet deep x 6' high. I'm going to fully water proof the area (similar method used to installing a shower). I'm going to install a misting system (probably mist king) that will be connecting to a hygrostat. For heating I'll likely using radiant heat panels mounted to the ceiling, but have not decided 100% on the heating method I'm going to use.
For now I'm trying to decide what to fill the enclosure with. I'm thinking that the main structure inside will be a tree, something native to central america. I'll make the frame out of PVC and then wrap it with wire, cement and then epoxy/paint the whole thing. I've seen a few videos of people who've made large enclosures using a similar method, and I'm going to do my best to copy them!
Has anyone else built a large natural looking habitat for their Boa's? I'd love to see ideas!!

Good for you! It's all about the animal and your enjoyment.
Not sure how much you have to spend or work with but have a looksy.

I haven't kept boas myself but have known lots that have. I was under the impression that they didn't really climb once they are adult? I could be wrong. Just the tank sounds great but wouldn't want someone to go to all the trouble building it, to maybe have something in it that won't use the tank to it's full potential.

It's a valid concern, and to be honest only time will tell
