I heard using that kind of ointment is bad for them and could make it worse.. I'll let others chime in that know a little bit more about it.

Oh gosh, I really hope I didn't make it worse. I'll look further into it. It's Polysporin or Bacitracin Zinc, first aid antibiotic ointment.
EDIT: Just checked a couple sites and they are all saying triple antibiotic or neosporin is good for superficial wounds or the like. I am not sure what is on his head but I just sort of went straight to treating it like it were one. Maybe I shouldn't have Links for those sites:

Oh that's good to know about the pain relief additive ointment. Thank you! I will keep that in mind and do a check through in my medicine cabinet.

Just spray him 1-2times a day, no need for any creams, if its just a dry spot.... It could just be old scales, aswell his eyes dont look dimpled or deflated.
