not likley. The second I have to go into efficiency setups and start spending more time cleaning than enjoying is when I draw the line.

I'm not interested in breeding or anything beyond relaxing in the room and handling a couple different species.

But I get what you are saying LOL!

I know my limits and it has to stay enjoyable.

I was planning on getting that same one, and had the order all ready to submit and everything, but then I had my accident and completely spaced it. Thanks for the reminder XD

But really, your cage looks fantastic. That's SUPPOSED to be my summer project, so hopefully I get around to it soon!

So how does the background fit into the back? Is it snug? Easy to remove to clean? Does it block the vents too much? How do you have your thermostat probe set up with the background and the RHP? How thick is the background? I'm worried my lighting is too close to the back and I'll have to redo it when I get the background. Sorry for all the questions

First off hope you are ok. Accident?? No good. Thanks for nice comments. Ok, the background is a thin durable rubber. It fits in easily and you screw it into place with 3/8 screws. I used stuff called Plastic Wood to cover the screws but you can't really see them anyhow. You can easily cut the spots for the vents. I still use thermostat cable the same as always. Put it through ® vent. You will use the same caulk sealer on the bottom of background that you did for your cage seams. It's a breeze. Sorry using I-Phone here so if I left something out I'll try to get back to you.

I have a shot at a 3 year old male Darwin. Free except $70 shipping. Not sure how play to this Kali. But I want that critter bad. 6 feet long, established and friendly I'm told. Wife is not a fan of my new hobby though.

One more thing. I initially had my light further back. It was not too close fit wise to the background but I moved it forward so the light didn't drown out the crevices and shadows of the piece, like an over exposed photo. I have an 18" LED strip light in there. And then another Arcadia Moonlight LED.

Awesome, thanks! I figured it was probably pretty easy to cut through, but I don't know too many people who have used them. It looks awesome, I really need to order mine and get started on it! I got a new light that I like a lot better than my current one, but it's 24 inches, and it may get too close to my RHP, but I figured I'd hold onto it for when I upgrade to a 6ft cage in the future. I also am getting the Moolight LED. Awesome set-up, as always!
