I was defensive. That was mentioned multiple times in the post. Stubborn was mentioned in this one. Blind, too, I think? Lol. Lots of colorful words. All of which were true. All of which I said myself. I am not hiding the fact I was defensive. But thanks for commenting, I appreciate it regardless. I think a lot of help is regarded as harm when people are defensive.
And if I recall, not everyone was as nice as you are. But I am not trying to dig it up, please.

I guess I'm just sort of at a loss. You seemed defensive even before anybody suggested there was no spider in your snake. What I saw were people trying to help you, even going so far as offering comparison pictures, in getting the genetics of your animal straightened out. I fail to see where you were treated any way that would make you feel humiliated.


I doubt anybody here thinks you stupid or naive for getting genetics mixed up on a snake - pretty sure MOST of us have done it at one point or another.

Wow... Were we reading the same thread?! More people should be like her? I think not... There's enough self-righteous newbies on this forum.

She was pretty rude to all the people trying to help her and it took Brian to prove her wrong. If you're going to be a respectable member of this community, it would help if you didn't insult the intelligence of experienced and helpful members.

I'm glad a lot of you are very forgiving. If I was giving advice and met such rudeness, I wouldn't put up with it...

I don't think it's about making a mistake. We all do that from time to time. I think it has more to do with you irrationally arguing like a 6 year old who's not getting her way...I would suggest next time someone points out something like that, instead of sticking your fingers in your ears and saying nah nah nah boo boo I can't hear you...take some time to consider that you may actually be wrong...

Also...the breeder who sold you your Banana screwed you over hard core...you may want to rectify that...

Telling someone we need more people like me is a judgement. Telling someone we don't is also one. You're attributing my entire persona to one post. That's pretty big of you. To judge someone you literally have no idea about. You assume I am a self-righteous newbie. Maybe one on the internet. But obviously, again, you haven't read my post history.
