Confused. Need help
Recently joined this forum after getting my first bp, been reading through and am a little confused on morphs. I have a female normal who I know came from a pastel clutch, i do not know the morphs of her parents except that one must have been pastel. What is the chance of her being a pastel het. I have a friend who has an albino and wants to breed. What morph would this produce?

Pastel is codom (visual), there is not het. If you breed your normal to an Albino (recessive), you will produce all het albino. This mean they carry the trait but don't show it.

Re: Confused. Need help
Thank you, that makes sense. So i take it because pastel is visual she does not carry a pastel gene. And if I breed her with a pastel half the clutch would be pastel and half would remain normal.
Sorry for the what may seem stupid questions but I'm new to all this.

You are correct, and no problem we all asked these types when first starting. Playing around on a genetic calculator helped me a lot. Google world of ball pythons and start there
