Carpets are great captives. I've been breeding them pretty consistent since 1992 and always had a great love for them....until all the "internet know it alls" came along and made them not fun anymore. Seems that all that nonsense has calmed down though.
I never could bring myself to remove them all from my collection and now that I have a new, bigger room...I'm getting some of my stuff back from breeders who have had them on loan.
Fun times...
Ya, if ya ever want to talk...reach out. I'm fairly free with my time.
Cheers,
D

Re: Carpet time!
I noticed one of the red coastal girls had shed when I was feeding so I snapped quick pic.

As with most things, prices cover a huge range.

right. prices can be everywhere from a little to a lot depending on the snake. I bought mine for $30 at a reptile show. that is on the low end. I would say for between $100 and $200 you could grab a decent jungle to keep as a pet.

I've seen jaguar coastal carpets like mine locally for $250-$450 but, a local breeder regularly has different types from $900-$1900.
Its a a major disappointment every time I see one go up for sale that I want and then see the price.
