For what it's worth, that's a total myth in my opinion. I don't mean take it out and bring it shopping with you all day and let 100 people hold it, but if you wanna hold it for a few minutes after its eaten, it should be fine. I've cleaned tubs an hour after mine have eaten (so like 2-5 minutes of handling/out of tub time) and I've never had one regurge. I'd say if you wanna take the wee one out for a few minutes the day after you feed, you should be perfectly fine.
