You can find decent single-gene hatchling males for under $100 at expos or from local breeders.

My question though, is can you afford the other normal expenses associated with breeding: the incubator and its thermostat (can't go cheap here), a hatchling rack and its accessories (another decent thermostat, tubs, more hides and water dishes), or worse, the unexpected expenses such as a vet bill for an egg-bound female? Do you have a good exotics vet conveniently close?
