Which one, which one...
So having been the owner of my normal female for precisely a month, I have recognized that I have been 'bitten by the bug' and must now get more. Problem is, funds are REALLY tight. so what I'm thinking of is to get a male I can breed my female with and make some money back on selling the little ones. I live next to a couple of breeders in the area so availability is not too bad. The question is this though; in view of the fact that money is tight, I can afford a single-gene at most. If I can somehow find the coin for a double-gene, great, but I'm not counting on it. So in view of the fact that I can afford a single-gene male, which gene should I go with to try to give myself as much opportunity to make money on selling the babies later and for long-term breeding? I can get pastels easy for example, and they are not expensive, but I don't see much of a market for pastels (and I don't really like them either). What do you guys think? Which single morph is best to start with?
