Nice, I hand feed a lot of my smaller stuff simply cause it's faster, but buy a pair tongs for your bigger stuff. It can really hurt!

How do you REALLY know if it was an accident? Maybe he wanted some brown or tan mice instead of the lame white ones you always get him, and that was his way of telling you .

I like to use tongs because the snake learns to associate the tongs with food and striking. Definitely don't want them to learn that behavior when they see a hand. Welcome to the club!
