    Re: We got pippers!!

    Theyre all out.....

the little spinnerblast was finally out of the egg this am. i inspected his eyes a bit more thoroughly, and i do believe hes gonna be blind . He has pupils, and i put him under the lamp and then took him away to check for dilation.....NO dilation. Its ok tho, weve had a snake before with the exact same eyes. He was blind, but otherwise perfect in every other way....ate fine, and lived a normal life. So, i have high hopes for this little one. If its a boy, im going to name him "Dizzy". Not sure on thr girl tho...

    They look great Crystal!

Dizzy is fine for a girl too. My niece is nicknamed Dizzy and there was a female character in Starship Troopers named Dizzy.

Oh these babies are all so pretty!

On a side not, what are the extra care requirements (if any) for a blind ball python?

Ah yes, hers was a formative boob scene in my youth.

Anyway, do blind snakes hide? Or do they just sort of hang out cause they can't tell if it's dark or light around them?
