    Re: Women

Careers shouldn't need to be a ton of work* they should come naturally. If it doesn't come naturally, then it's probably time for a new one.

*yes, they require work. But if there is excessive time and effort into learning any particular job to get to the next level. Time to rethink your life.

    Exactly!
Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life!

    I'll never understand them. *sigh*
That's why I decided to work with animals for the rest of my life, they're more interesting and you don't have to start the odd conversations with them! Especially about when you're going to get married (I'm 19 btw -.-) , why don't you get out of the house, go study, etc.

I agree with the "people..." comment. I think many times people get involved with the wrong person, then it is too hard to make things work. That said, I've only been married for 2 years (to someone that I consider a great match to me personality-wise) and I still have my moments where I get annoyed, etc. People are flawed so our relationships are flawed to some degree or another. All that said, I hate it when people lump all women or men in the same grouping... I happen to be female, yet don't get "emotional" and tend to like more male / geeky things and my husband is totally opposite the stereotypical (immature, inconsiderate, and sports-obsessed) version of men portrayed in culture at present... I guess it's good to be weird?

    p.s.
I know that most guys are not the stereotype I listed, that was just for reference and to note what you see portrayed on TV, in movies, etc. To be fair, women are portrayed as illogical, vapid, whorish, catty, manipulative, and spending-crazy in the same TV / movies.

    Women...can't live with'em, can't make a sandwich without'em.

Actually I'd do okay on sandwiches, but my g/f makes incredible quesadillas that I'm not going to attempt...

And if I was a girl I'd be same the same thing about men, just change out sandwiches for car oil changes or building snake racks, using skill saws or something probably...

Then again, being an extreme introvert, it's hard living with anyone for any extended period of time and very few people comprehend and understand the "yes we're great together and you're awesome, nothings wrong, I just need you to go the hell away for a day or two a week so I can rest and recharge"

My boyfriend of 2yrs is the biggest introvert. It took me a LONG time to figure that part. I'm a huge extravert and when I've been alone all day and he gets out of work, I spaz like a Golden Retriever. "HEY! HEY! HOWWWASYOURDAY?! WHATDOYOUWANTTODO?! ILOVEYOU!"

I realize now that he needs time to recharge after talking to and dealing with people all day, so I'm patient, but we compromise. I give him an hour or so to surf the web/whatever and then he spends time with me. Works for us so far.
