Yeah, I'm up for a store here in Michigan too. We need more places like this in the Great Lakes region!!

I'll be out next week to your area to open up what I'll be naming Ever Evolving Ohio, haha.

I just signed up for this forum about 10 minutes ago, not due to my love of ball pythons (don't get me wrong, I dig snakes) but because I'm getting really into Pacman Frogs and I know there's a small but enthusiastic amphibian fans section.

Anyway, I happen to live in Tucson and will definately be needing plenty of goods in the future as I begin to build my frog empire.

I'm super excited about your store. I might even be interested in doing some volunteer work for you guys free of charge ( I'm out of work anyway) in exchange for some knowledge of frogs and their breeding and care.

Good luck guys. On our next day off me and my lady friend will come by and make a purchase.

What is your actual street address?

Also are you aware of a store called Reptile Specialists? I recently had a very positive experience with the guy who works the morning shift there, didn't catch his name, but they, like you, seem to be a more in depth, caring kind of shop.
You will definitely have to come check us out! We currently have a nice diversity in frogs right now. I will be more than happy to show you around. Tucson has a real passionate frog community, I think it's because it's so dry people want to have something a little more tropical, haha.

The shop is located on Grant rd just west of Swan.

Re: Introducing EEE: Tucson's Newest Reptile & Amphibian Center for Education & Retai

Just wanted to report in again!

We went by the other day to check out the shop. When we walked in I couldn't help but notice that it was VERY clean and looked great. Everything is well organized and space is used smartly.

The people working there were very knowledgable and approachable. We came with many questions and they answered them all, one by one, taking time to help us understand. They were patient and friendly.

They showed us around the store, and when we asked about their vivariums, they not only explained it to us, they showed us how all the layers of moss, charcoal and whatnot worked. When we expressed interest in the little dart frogs, they fed them some specially bred fruit flies, when they told us had no flight. We watched as these tiny guys hunted flies like a microscopic rainforest scene. Well, maybe not microscopic, but you get the idea.

They went above and beyond what customers would normally expect. They gave us good ideas for ways to make a cool Pacman frog vivarium without ACTUALLY allowing the destructive little frog to tear up the plants.

They even looked some stuff up online for us about painting with moss, and gave us some wax worms for our frog to sample. We found Pacman frog food for sale as well, and for cheap. I'm happy to say our frog have just gotten hungry enough today to eat some of each, and he seemed to like both of them, so we'll definately be back to buy both, plus more, because we're happy to do business with a great place like this.

We are thinking of buying this foam stuff which we could then put some cool plants like venus fly traps on. We'll be back, thanks to great customer service.

Thanks again for your help guys.
