    oh, yeah he can wiggle out of there whenever he wants to, he just wanted to see how you dealt with a little heart attack. lol. I was expecting some crazy piece of machinery, but if you just leave that in the cage, he'll eventually abandon it for his hotspot.

    OR youre snake just claimed himself a new hide.

    My boa got stuck inside her hide 1 time. It was an upside down wicker basket thing that i cut a hole in, well 1 day I had a left over rat pup so i gave it to her. She snatched with just a quick strike out of her hide hole and 2 days later shes draging her hide across the tank cause only about 1/3 of was able to fit out the same hole. It was an easy fix and she wasnt harmed and didnt even seem to care or notice. I was lmao.

    I would put the cooling fan in his enclosure rite next to his hide and call it a night.

    One of my ball pythons did the same thing! Got stuck in a hide and I had the break the hide apart to get him out. I'm glad yours came out unscathed, mine still has a scar from his sticky situation.
