While my snakes are not head shy, they do seem to only tolerate me rubbing their head for a couple of minutes. Rubbing their chin is another story. I think they actually like it, at times. They will stay still and relax as long as I am rubbing their chin. That's just my observation.Originally Posted by Evenstar
You have to remember that snakes are not like our furry friends, the dog and cat. They don't really like to be stroked. They will usually tolerate nominal handling, but petting? Not so much.....
