Yeah, Misha meant no harm at all. I'm not sure how much time you have spent on internet forums but things get taken the wrong way all the time. There is no body language, facial expressions or tone of voice to give you any true perspective on their opinion. There is no harm done so just take it as a lesson learnt

I'm fairly new to this but our 2 yr female BP was always fed live and was currently being fed 2 live gerbils once a week by the previous owner (live rats are illegal in Alberta, Canada). We decided to try and get her switched over to f/t medium rats. What we did was buy one live adult mouse (our girl is 3 1/2 ft or so) and gave this to her first, once she went for the mouse (she killed it but didn't eat it) we dangled the rat (the rat comes individually wrapped so we ran hot water under the ALREADY thawed rat for a few minutes to warm while still in the package) she didn't go for us dangling the rat,but once we layed it in front of her (head first) she went for it like a pro!!! We were pleasantly surprised, we feed her once a week, hopefully this is the beginning of a trend. I will say our BP is a good eater though.
