Re: Mya is home! :) (Vid and pics!)

    Oh dear.

Hope Peter is eating again soon hun!

So when I feed Mya, if she's in a hide do I remove the hide or just dangle the feeder in the 'entrance' to the hide?

    Thanks, so do I

That is something I have yet to figure out. I normally just wait until he is out of his hides and going on a little wander around and then dangle it infront of him. Hope it helps ya

I like to feed them when they're in the hide. The smell of rat will almost always bring their little noses popping out. BPs are ambush hunters, and I think sometimes they can feel more secure striking from a hide. I've done this with both live and F/T. Seems to work equally well with either.

I will have to give this a shot. He is due a shed soon and his temps have only just gotten perfect so hopefully he will feed for me soon!

    MYA FED!!

I did remove the hide but I'll bear that in mind for next time

Made sure I wriggled the feeder a little more once she constricted. There was no way she was letting go!!

    Back off this is mine!

    Then down the hatch

I offered 2nd rat which she did strike and constrict but then she just seemed to play with it. Mouthing it and biting it, shifting it about, but then she lost interest. I was pleased actually as a few bits of substrate had stuck to it!!! Took it out, put hide back and now leaving her alone for a few days. Her feeding day is goin to go back to a Thursday, but Im in 2 minds whether to feed this week or leave it until the following week??

I'm just so pleased she fed!
