    Re: Humidity help please!

I've got the heating on constant now and I've put another digital thermometer in the centre of the viv as pictured to get an air temp.

As you can see it is currently 23C but has been gradually increasing all morning

Just waiting for it to level out so I know it will get warm enough in there, then I can take the doors out again to get the humidity down (Temp goes down when I open the doors)

    Re: Humidity help please!

Its now reading 24C (75.2F) which is advised as a comfortable ambient temp for ball pythons on a few care sheets I've just looked at.

Hot end is a stable 32C (I have the stat and thermometer probes in contact with the lino that covers the heat mat under the hide as figured that's where she'll end up)

Doors now open again to bring humidty down. (Again caresheets advise 60-75% humidity) is that right?

    Re: Humidity help please!

It should do, her in there with that humidity will be fine for a short period. Give it a few more days of drying and if it is still too high, create some holes for ventilation

EDIT: Are you looking to breed her in the future, due to her being het Albino?

Oh great. Yes if it remains high I will make some more ventilation holes

I would like to yes but would do A LOT of research first as it would be my first time breeding. I absolutely love albinos! Pied are my dream snake though!

I really love Mya's markings as well though.
