    Problems shedding

Hi I have a 5month male, I've had him for a month now and not owned a royal before. I saw he had blues on Sunday, so I bumped the humidity up to about 80 (normally sits between 50-60). He shedded today and I've noticed not all of it has come off. Just looking for some advise for getting the rest off? I've read that's its best to put him in a bath and slide my hands down him?

    Thanks

You can do a bath, but that can be stressful for him.
Instead, you can put him in a warm damp pillow case for an hour. The act of slithering around in the case should take off the rest of the shed.

What if he doesn't go anywhere near the pillow case?

Don't do anything, eye caps aren't going to harm him and likely will come off on the next shed.

You must weigh the danger of injuring his eye trying to remove the cap vs. doing nothing and it coming off later.

Above all, take the snake to a vet (strong reptile background preferred) and have them examine him. There is a slight chance of infection behind the cap in extreme cases.

Where did the OP say that his BP had stuck eye caps? Did I miss something?

LOL, I think I shouldn't watch Game of Thrones and browse the forums simultaneously. That is odd, I could have sworn he said something about eye caps haha.

    Please disregard!!

Put him inside the damp case and tie it so he can't get out.
