Exclamation PANIC! :( escaped ball python

I woke up this morning to check if my 1.5 y/o ball had finally shed. Turns out he did shed, but found a way to slide his doors open to escape . I've been looking everywhere for the good part of the last hour and I don't know what to do!

ANY helpful advice as to how to search better would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks all.

    -Johnathan

Check all the places right around his enclosure. Behind the enclosure, near the heat source, etc. Like someone else on here said, a lot of times they spend all sorts of effort escaping then make it 5 or 6 feet away and that's it.

Put flour on the floor and you can see the tracks when it goes across it. Look I n every nook and cranny. Be patient but vigilant. Also look in the bathroom they seem to like bathrooms. Also welcome to the world of BPs lol. I've had my girl escape 2x and found her in the bathroom, and on a book shelf up high.

That's good you found him, I've had my Snow Corn get out while I was deployed. Although she didn't get far she did get injured when my cousin closed the door on her head. x.x She survived it and made a surprisingly quick recover. Snakes are sure hardy reptiles.
If you're are not going to stand behind the soldiers, feel free to stand in front of them.

    Collection:
    1 Blood Python. (Benito)
    1 Normal Ball Python (Breda)
    1 Coastal Carpet Python (Richthofen)
    1 Siamese/Tabby Cat (Junkers)
