Re: Interesting feeding day
Almost all of mine are night shy feeders. I put the dead rat in front of their hide before I go to bed and when I wake up it's gone. I've only have a few I have to feed like this, but I find if mine don't make it on the first or second strike they won't eat at all.

My OG female has been shy since I got her, including feeding. Some days she's still a shy feeder, just plop the f/t rat in and walk away. One time I opened up her bin to offer a rat, and she came OUT of the bin to snatch it up. I was juggling the bin and her to keep her from falling all the way out, I was caught a bit unprepared for that kind of a reaction! lol
I know, it makes me feel much better than having to worry when they'll eat next.

The joy is to watch the whole video. That way you know how I do things because I explain in the video and then you see the success I have with what I do.

Yea, well normally my Sable is the one that comes out of the tub but my sable pin did it that time. The Mahogany I've had for a few weeks but he's been a shy feeder, but once he settled in they're normally all aggressive feeders. The only one I have now that won't hit off the tongs is my Lesser Pastel but he still eats. I'll have to start posting videos like that, so they can get an idea.
I actually think the Mahogany came the closest to tagging me because I was far from expecting his feeding response to be like that out of the blue.
