No idea and don't really care to look it up.

    Re: Why BP.net

100% of the people here keep or are wanting a ball python. We just also happen to have other animals too.

We come here for the BP's, we discuss other things too.

This is how many forums are started. You want to attract people with similar interests. You then find out, low and behold, these folks have other interests as well that don't all mesh up so good. They start posting pictures of their big ugly camel on your pretty pony forum. It's amusing at first - people dig it and say stuff like "nice looking camel"; but then other camel people start coming out of the woodworks. Catastrophe is upon you, while you were looking the other way your pretty pony forum became a safe haven for spitting camel cameos. To avoid this unsavory scenario, the smart admin creates sub categories for people to share their various interests. These categories seldom, if ever, get larger than the primary one so there really is no need for a domain name change like you suggest. If it bothers you, you do have the option to bookmark just the forum(s) in which you're interested.

Well maybe more like 99%. I have no desire to keep ball pythons (don't have anything against them, I'm just a boa person!). I'm here because this is an awesome forum for more than just ball pythons. And there are some really awesome people on here, and some fantastic looking animals, ball pythons and otherwise.

What's so wrong with ball pythons? I'm sure you've had one in the past surely.

    Are amoebas animals?

If they are, I'm getting some. After researching husbandry and checking my local ordinances, of course.

Nope. I have kept reptiles for eighteen years now (lizards and turtles), but I've only actually owned one snake, my boa. I've been in love with boas since I was five and first held one. I've gotten to help with ball pythons, and several other snakes. But they aren't my thing. Ball pythons are cute, and there are lots of really awesome things about them, but I'm just a boa person. There's absolutely nothing wrong with them. They just don't appeal to me in a way that makes me want one. My best friend keeps two of them, so I get to visit.
