It's just sort of a side effect from having such a large operation. You don't necessarily spot the little buggers immediately when you have 20,000 snakes to take care of. Like the spread of fleas in a dog kennel.

I agree with this Justin always has a lot of awesome Hets and possible double Hets. I'd definitely trust his rep.

I would say buy your hets from the actual breeder. Don't be afraid of smaller breeders that can and are willing to answer all your questions and provide documentation.

I'm looking at a het pied pair myself on Royal Constrictor Desogn. Ots Garrick Demeyer and I've heard and read nothing but good about him. He's been in tje game a long time.

I would suggest not buying Hets from a flipper.

    Re: Best breeders for hets

I have yet to buy animals from either Jon at Cold Blooded Addiction or from Justin at JKobylka Reptiles, but both have been very quick to respond to any emails I have sent them asking questions about my own animals. I think that speaks a lot for them. If I were looking to buy hets, I would probably look to them first.

I have bought my good share of Hets from many reliable breeders.

Mike Wilbanks- several Het purchases, including pairings that should bring eggs this season

Dave Green- at least 3 Hets. No papers needed or asked for. Big proven 0.1 Het Pied that ovulated last week

Colin Weaver- at least another 4 Hets. Colin has some great stuff

I have traded my good friend here on the forum Joe (joebad976) for some Hets as well. Great local trades

Papers are not worth their weight in gold if the breeder does not have a good reputation.....
