Is this enough room for air or am I covering too much?

indeed the holes in the light fixture would be enough, just wanted to point out that you want to be careful with anything flammable touching those lights. personally i definitely wouldn't let a towel or anything touch the skirt for the light. you could do something like a piece of plexi glass and cut out a hole for the light, that way you can look down into the cage, and if humidity got to high just drill a hole or 2 on the plexi and of course it would be less of a fire hazard, just an idea

Thanks for the idea. I've wanted to get some plexiglass for it but I don't know how exactly to go about it. Just measure the area of the top and go into a store and ask? I think I read Home Depot somewhere but not positive.
