There used to be a vid floating around on the net of RDR's bp's swimming around in his pool...as long as the water isn't too cold or have chemicals I'm sure they'll be fine...

That was kinda my first thought but he seemed to enjoy it and that changed my mind. That and he went right in the water by his own choosing. Now I want a fish tank with a snake tank on top. I think I would put my BRB in it...NO, SEA SNAKE with a salt water tank. Game on!!!!

I like to wear my python around my neck when I do chores around my apartment. I also have an aquarium hobby and he often slides off my neck will I am changing the water in my fish tanks. The first time he did it I freaked out that he fell in. Then he did it again, and again. Anytime he is near the tanks he really wants to go in. I was told it was unusual so I thought I would show you guys that pythons are very natural in the water. Thank you for enjoying it.

The water in the tanks are around 85 degrees so he really enjoys it. It is chlorine free and very clean and safe. And no, he never eats the fish.

The only thing I would caution against is that sometimes a swim will make them go #2...tank won't be very clean after that.

Now that would be a great video. All the cursing would have to be edited.

    Re: Swimming python

This is so funny because I have a male bumble bee ball python name BuBo and he loves water too! He loves to play in his water bowl and if I have to give him a bath (since he likes to play in his poo as well) he loves to play around in the water. But Eva my female normal hates the water it's crazy. I think that some like it and some don't.

    Re: Swimming python

Ha ha, no he hasn't done that either. He is a really great python. He is a modeling champ. I was asked to wear him to DC fashion week. A local designer begged me to wear her dress after she saw the snake with me and Miss USA 2013. I wish I could show you all but I seem t be having a hard time figuring out how to upload with URL. What do I do? I have the photo as a jpg on my comp.
