I'm not too knowledgeable on Chondro's but I do know they do like to cruise the cage at night, they don't always stay perched up on stuff. Also I'm not sure where you've gotten your dimensions from but they're off. It's 36" long, 24" deep(front to back) and 24" tall. Yes, that would work and I know a few people that do keep them in that size enclosure, but I'm not sure how large the Biaks get and if I'm not mistaken they're one of your larger ones.
