Good luck with her. Odds are she'll be fine and eat for you, so if you like her that's all that matters.
That's true... It couldn't hurt to try though if something goes wrong, you know? Although, I'd rather try to work with her than return her if something goes wrong.

Thank you for the well wishes, and I'll definitely be smarter next time I buy from an expo. Of the other two tables I looked at, one couldn't tell me whether his female normal was 1 or 2 years old, and the other left their records at home. There were other tables but the BPs were all too young for me, or I couldn't find morphs/females I liked with prices I could afford. Several tables were being attended by kids under 10 years old. I think I might just go to a bigger expo next time, because this was in a really small town.

I got a scale today (Merry Christmas!) and had to weigh her. She's 141g, so her breeder either has a really good memory or he's really good at guessing/eyeballing BPs. I hope rat pups aren't too big for the little girl. They're supposed to arrive this Friday.

Rat pups should be fine. Even though rat pups have a range of sizes depending on who you're talking to (a rat pup for one dealer could be smaller/larger than a rat pup for another dealer), try to feed her rat pups in the 14-25g range. Basically, feed her the smaller pups in the bag first. If they are really small pups, you can feed two at a time to equal that weight or you can feed her more often (every 4-5 days). Whatever fits you and your BP better. Some BPs won't take multiple prey items so you'll just have to figure out what she likes.

Unless they're abnormally big for rat pups, those should be good.
