    Honestly... feeding in the enclosure is better for the snake. You will find the majority of the experienced keepers/breeders on here feed in the enclosure with no problems.

    I feed mine is their enclosure and right now I'm using aspen, I do not worry if they get a little substrate with their meal.... after all the ground in Africa is not cleaned away for wild snakes to eat .
