Verify "her" sex first before you do anything drastic.
I definitely will. I have a rat pup in there with "her" right now, figured I'd leave it in over night and see if it works this time, so I don't want to bother her right now. I'll check tomorrow. I not really sure about putting a male in with "her" at all yet, just trying to get a general opinion of what people think.

Sounds like a spider male I have, he eats 3 med rats a year to maintain his 1100g weight.
I really think you have a male from what you are telling us, resex ASAP. I prefer to pop for a visual confirmation.
Good luck and keep us posted, I hope Im wrong for your sake.

I resexed her today. I have never been able to pop a snake over 500 grams, so that didn't work. I did probe her though and she only probes 3 scales on one side and 4 on the other.

Try this:
I have NEVER been good at probing. Also, all of the missexed snakes I've have recieved had been probed initially, so I don't trust it.

I'll try that. I can pop young snakes pretty good I just haven't been able to get the larger ones down. Granted I was fairly inexperienced when I got this particular snake. She did come from a well known breeder, but I know that anyone can make a mistake. I have had good results with probing, but I can not say that I am 100% positive of the results.
