I am entitled to do whatever I want with my time. Even if that means correcting you and educating others. Especially since opinions- including your's- are distinguishable from actual facts.

You mean like...

FACT - the VAST majority of breeders use and recommend tubs over tanks for the very reasons you describe.

OPINION - despite this fact, I prefer glass, therefore I spend the extra money and time to make glass work.

What people choose to house their pythons in doesn't matter, if you want to use tubs and a rack system to have multiple pythons with out breaking the bank, then all the power to you! But if you're like myself and are still learning and want to have a terrarium to add decorations too and spend the money on to make it appealing then that's your thing! Everyone has their own preferences.

You're absolutely correct, but I would add that if you're going to use glass and/or go the terrarium route, you have a responsibility to go the extra distance to make sure everything is perfect. That applies to EVERY housing setup, but even more so to glass terraria.

Honestly, I suggest EVERYONE get a nice glass setup. That way, if you eventually switch to tubs or racks, you have an excuse to build a vivarium/paludarium and fill it with plants and a tropical gecko or two, maybe even some dart frogs!

You are right,with glass tanks and terrariums it does take extra work..I just changed my substrate yesterday and I'm already having some issues with humidity,nothing I can't figure out,but still a hassle..but details are a must with glass enclosures...I just added some wett sphagnum moss to the tanks right now and it bumped humidity right up a bit ,but still it's something u have to maintain daily.
