Yes tubs are very effective at holding humidity. The one caveat though is it sometimes gets hard to get a heat lamp over it to provide a higher air temperature. So you might be better off trying the aluminum foil trick first but if it absolutely does not work then a tub with a little height to it can be modified to work with a heat lamp over it.
Oh ok, well I use a stick on heat pad for the hot spot so I might have to buy another one cause I doubt I could get it off without ruining it. I think i've already tried the aluminum foil trick and wet towel and the change in humidity did not happen. I'm using the acu-rite humidity/temp electronic thermometers with the probe.
