BP's that hold their color the best as adults

Can I ask what's the reason for your question about best color holding adults? Just curious.

For the life of me, I can't rationalize spending hundreds and in many cases thousands of $$$ on an animal that as a juvenile looks completely different than it does as an adult. Unless its colour gets brighter or it maintains it's brilliance as it ages.

Maybe someone with more experience can explain it to me.
