Weren't they great? I saw the Oakland show last week, thanks to my boss for giving me the evening off, and courtesy of a friend who owns a luxury suite. She couldn't (or didn't want to?) go, so I got to enjoy her tix with this awesome view:
They played for over three hours, from about 8:30 until after midnight, and Eddie was a bit tipsy by the end.The best part was when he walked over to a group of students from the Bridge School (a local school for disabled kids, founded by Neil Young), and serenaded them with one boy's favorite song... even let him take the mic for a minute! Super cool.
