Well, if you would come around more often I wouldn't have had to resort to that. You've been hanging out with that tamale chick again, haven't you???

I stopped by cause she said we could go on a boat ride, and we got lost on an island. It was only supposed to be a 3 hour tour!

Weren't they great? I saw the Oakland show last week, thanks to my boss for giving me the evening off, and courtesy of a friend who owns a luxury suite. She couldn't (or didn't want to?) go, so I got to enjoy her tix with this awesome view:

They played for over three hours, from about 8:30 until after midnight, and Eddie was a bit tipsy by the end. The best part was when he walked over to a group of students from the Bridge School (a local school for disabled kids, founded by Neil Young), and serenaded them with one boy's favorite song... even let him take the mic for a minute! Super cool.

Last night was my fourth time seeing them and every time is different. You definitely get your money's worth!

I have one ticket for Seattle next week. We were literally sitting at the computer hitting refresh waiting for them to go on sale. By the time we got through we could only get one. If I can get one of the CL scalpers to get off a pair, or even a single for a reasonable amount, we'll be hitting that one too.

I think I'm going either way, I might just be going alone Ha ha!

btw brandi, i think you're pretty.

Just find some other troll of lulz past like B.O.S. reptiles and spread the neg rep around that way.

Re: Hey, if anyone needs to get ahold of me tonight...

    On topic update!

When we bought our tickets for this tour we were only able to get one for Seattle through Ticketmaster. We figured we'd just cruise to Seattle the day of the show and buy one off a scalper. The show was last night, so I started scouring CL for a ticket about three days ago. I couldn't find anything that was less than $300 per ticket. I couldn't buy any of those based on principle. So I got out of work early, made the 4 hour trip, and stood outside in subzero weather to beg for a ticket at a reasonable price. The most "reasonable" deal we could find was a dude who offered us two seats together for $500 plus our single ticket. We almost did it, but it was such a ridiculous price for $160 worth of tickets, we just couldn't be a party to it.
So- we found a dude who really wanted in but didn't have $300 + to pay what people were asking and we sold him our single for $100.

If I hadn't already seen them twice this week, I'm not sure I could have just walked away.

Hey, at least out of work early, right?!

How much did what suck? Riding all the way to Seattle to stand in the freezing cold and beg for ticket mercy only to be denied? 8/10.

The two shows I did get to see? 0/10.
