I've had my ball python for over two years and I was curious about her growth. She is very small- maybe 2 and a half to maybe 3 feet. I had her in a small tank for a long time but I've moved her to a larger tank with much more space for her. She is healthy. I feed her once a week. She hasn't shed in a long time. I was wondering if maybe she was just very small (bad blood line)-or maybe they just slow down growing as they get older?
Also what can I do to keep the humidity up in her tank? i realized after my dad got this tank for me that it was waay too big.
Cage size does not effect growth. What is her feeding schedule? For a female that is on the small side but nothing terrible. I saturate the substrate weekly in my glass tanks to maintain humidity.
