    Small Clutch

Hello, a friend of mine has 1800g female that laid only two eggs. I was wondering if this is something that will always happen? Has anyone ever experienced a small clutch in one season then a bigger clutch the next?

I havent personally seen less than 6 eggs from a female but I know it does happen. My females tend to lay the same or more the next year, but most it ever went up from one year to the next was a 6 egg clutch to a 9 egg clutch.

Maybe she absorbed some that werent fertilized before OVY?

The clutch of two eggs was laid about 50 days ago. I don't think there are any more eggs. I'm just a little surprised because she weighed 1800g when she was bred. I would expect at least 4 eggs?
