This is her pastel looking amazing at 800g. Better than many hatchlings.

I will agree this is one fine looking snake. It has also been brought up that it very well possibly is a Lemon Pastel and not just an average Pastel- just for comparison sake.

I'm pretty sure Marissa said it was not of any specific known pastel line??
But being a Lemon doesn't really make a difference anyway since there are plenty of dirt brown Lemon pastels out there as well...

Here's my pastel. She was bright yellow when she was younger with orangey yellow on the top. I got her when she was 3 years old so I don't know how she looked as a baby. Now that she's 8 years old, the orangey part is brownish but the sides are still the same yellow.
3 years old:

5 years old (same as now at 8 years old):

She is from a Pastel Enchi x Dinker pairing. The Pastel Enchi was from a breeding loan, and was produced by a possible lemon pastel. Either way, Lemon, Citrus, Blonde,Graziani etc doesn't mean anything to me. All that matters is what the animal looks like.
PS. Nikki, I always know I can rely on you to show off my girl! lol

How could I not! She's the epitome of the 'perfect' pastel color wise. Her colors are fantasic for her size and age. Better than most hatchlings. Everyone who breeds pastels needs to make it their goal to produce pastels like yours! Way too many poorly bred pastels over saturating the hobby.
Corey has a really impressive pastel as well.
Its a shame they're not more common.

She appreciates all the compliments! She is getting slightly darker yellow, but she is still yellow! I can't wait to see what kind of babies she makes for me. When people hear how much I paid for her they think I am crazy! I wouldn't have had it any other way. I NEVER see good pastels for sale these days.....

Talking about babies...
The spider x pastel on my picture above produced this smashing bee:

They can definitely brown out, you just have to try and find someone who has nice looking adults and hope the babies keep their colors too. Sometimes it's the luck of the draw though, you pick out the nicest baby and it browns out, while its' ugly duckling siblings turn out great. Also, don't count on the line to guarantee a beautiful adult snake.
The snake on the far left is the father of all the others. He's a NERD (lemon) line pastel, his father came directly from NERD. You wouldn't look at him now and say "wow I wish I had that snake!!!" But look at his babies....
