I have left my BP alone for a week by herself before. She is just over a year old. I made sure to give her clean water, and spot clean any messes before I left. I also fed a couple nights prior to leaving so I knew she had a full belly and would most likely spend the majority of the time in her warm hide digesting. I also have a thermostat to take care of temps. It can be done, one of the many bonuses of keeping reptiles. However, it is completely up to you whether you feel comfortable leaving them alone or not.
