Honestly, and I'm in no way being mean here... I would seriously rehome him. It would be best for both you and the snake. By now he should be on adult rats not rat pups. If you can't get the appropriate food rehoming is best

I'm saying by now, if you've had him a year, he is at the minimum one year old, and should be big enough to eat small adult rats.
I didn't say he's big enough for rats, I said he SHOULD be big enough for adult rats.

He's a 2013 hatchling and I've had him for a week.
