Why can't you actually give helpful answers? All you do is post snarky comments. It's getting quite old. You don't even know the reason the OP asked the question. You don't know their situation. That's really not fair to jump on them and say they shouldn't have pets. You're making the assumption that they don't have the money to house them with no knowledge of whether they do or not. People should be able to ask a question on here without a member jumping down their throat with rude comments. And to say someone "isn't the sharpest tool in the shed" is quite rude. I never get why people join a forum, you know an online community, and decide to go against the grain and not become part of that community.
I was going to say like Kodieh said, breeders keep baby balls together for a bit before giving them their own tubs. Never heard of anything negative from that. I'd say the OP's question can't be answered until the reason of WHY is answered.

He did answer why. Although I do think more thought should have went into it, the situation is what it is, so yes I'd separate as soon as possible. Should you not own pets??? I see no reason why you shouldn't. At least you asked and are prepared to do things right

You ever said anything useful?
It is okay to use pine bedding for snakes.
It is okay to feed live food to snakes.

I can afford aspen. I choose to use paper towels because they're cheap. I can also afford a $500 vet bill, but no way in hell I'd rack one up (not for the snake anyway). Since I can afford the things you mention, just choose not to incur the expense, should I be able to keep my pets?
And you're already communicating on a fifth grade level, at best. Rather than dumb it down for us, maybe try to bring it up to somewhere around 9th or 10th grade?

Re: baby balls can they be kept together?
Wow so much negativity on this one thread for a simple question. To answer that question. I have seen many people keep snakes together throughout their entire lives with no issues at all. That is not to say that it is best for the snakes at all. Short term no problem at all but long term should be avoided.
Now can people grow up and give advice rather than attacking people?
Knowledge is earned not learned.

Herman, I might not be a pro on ball pythons, but i've been housing two ball pythons together for about a year now and they are perfectly fine. Neither of them have ever missed a meal (I feed them on the same day in separate feeding tubs).
I think it's people's opinion that keeping two BPs together is somehow harmful. It's also my opinion that it's not.
Sometimes you have to take these forums with a grain of salt and find what works best for you and your BPs.

Really?? With you years of knowledge: How do you keep your hatchlings?? Think about it before you answer..........................
Maybe you need to open your ears and learn to ask a couple questions before I tag you for padding your posts with worthless responses like these.
Herman63,
Are they hatchlings or do they have some size to them already? Im sorry if I missed it, I just glanced over some of the responses.
Yes, you can keep them together but you will need multiple hides and I would feed in a separate container.
I don't care what anyone tells you, I do handle my snakes before and after feeding BUT you don't want to handle them too much after feeding.
As they age I would not keep them together for many different reasons including illness, how would you know who is the sick one

I would like to thank everyone for helping.
We all make mistakes and I did by not being totally prepared. I am in the process of getting a rack.
Thanks again, Herman
